Mental health and wellness
Mental health is just as important as physical health, encompassing a person's emotional, psychological and social well-being. With the right diagnosis, many disorders and conditions can be treated.
Mental health disorders we treat
We are committed to providing compassionate mental health services, including treatment for common conditions, such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Self-injury
- Addictions
Our mental health and wellness services
Our physicians and staff at Tucker Pavilion excel in identifying issues and supporting mental wellness. We help you heal and recover for ages 13 and up.
Mental health services
At Tucker Pavilion, our behavioral health care specialists offer adults and seniors specialized treatment for a range of mental health conditions. We can admit you 24 hours a day to our 137-bed acute psychiatric hospital. We also have specific units designed for teens in need (ages 13-17).
Our approach to mental wellness
To meet your unique needs and ensure progress is made, our multidisciplinary inpatient recovery team evaluates progress daily. Having a team of professionals from different specialties enables us to provide a variety of services, including medical care, therapies, discharge planning, education groups and advanced treatment methods.
Your primary treatment team collaborates daily to provide you with the best treatment possible. In addition to your psychiatrist, you will also be in the care of nurses, social workers, psychologists and expressive therapists.

Our community partners
Youth suicide is a leading cause of death. We are dedicated to working with Chesterfield County to help educate members of the community and raise awareness of this epidemic.
Education and awareness
We work closely with community partners, such as The Jason Foundation, to offer educational and awareness programs aimed at preventing the "silent epidemic" of youth suicide.
We support the foundation's mission to equip young people, educators, youth workers and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.
